What’s there?

This park is split in half across Armstrong Road. On one side you will find formal gardens and the majority of the sporting facilities. On the other side of the road you will find the toilets, car park, children’s play areas and Football Pitches.

This park boasts a range of sporting activities for its’ visitors to take part in. It offers Tennis Courts, Hockey Pitch, Bowls green, Football Pitches, Skate park and Multi-use court for Footall and Basketball.

Younger visitors can enjoy two play areas. The smaller of the two is tucked out of sight towards the residential area near Lacock Gardens, it has a climbing frame with slide, swings and some bouncy animals to play on. The second, much larger play area is located next to the car park. This play area offers a lovely mix of equipment for children of all ages. With trampolines set into the floor, a play house, swings and assault course, there is plenty to keep the them entertained.

Dotted around the park you will find picnic benches and picnic tables where you can sit and enjoy the park and your lunch.

There are public toilets at the park, no cafe and plenty of picnic benches and tables dotted around the park.

There is a free car park just off Armstrong Road. Maidstone East and West Train stations are approximately 1.5 miles away, 30 minute walk. There are several bus stops close by on Armstrong Road and Loose Road.
